Things to remember:

Above you will find exams from obligatory lectures. About final tests/exams/assignments from 1) obligatory workshops/labs/seminars, 2) some of the obligatory blocked courses, 3) electives and 4) specialization courses you have to ask instructors of these courses directly.

If a student is ill on the day of the exam, he/she needs to let the office and the instructor know, by phone or preferably by email on the day of the exam at the latest. Then, the student needs to show a doctor’s note proving that he/she was ill on the day of the exam (if you already have it on the day of the exam, you can scan it or make a photo of it and attach to the email). Very important: the doctor’s note cannot be written on the prescription form (in Polish: ‘recepta’), but on a proper certificate form (in Polish: ‘zaswiadczenie lekarskie’). Doctor’s notes written on ‘recepta’ will not be accepted!

The make-up session after the spring semester 2013/14 is going to take place on 01-12 Sep 2014. During the make-up session it will be possible to make up only obligatory lectures and only students who failed the first term or were absent during the first term will be able to take a given make-up exam. The exams will be planned between 01 and 12 September and not before and not after. Please take that into account when planning anything at the time of the make-up session.

Students of Year 3, Year 4 and Year 5 should remember that they need to obtain a grade from the empirical paper (Year 3) or a pass from the Master’s seminar (Year 4) or a grade from the Master’s seminar (Year 5) till the end of the spring session. If you go to your tutor on the last day of the session and give them your paper, you will probably not be given credit. Tutors need time to read everything, evaluate, find reviewers of your papers etc. and probably you are not their only student. That is why, to avoid potential problems, you need to finish your paper as soon as possible, preferably till the end of May in order to give it to your tutor at the beginning of June at the latest. 5th-year Students who would like to defend in June/July need to remember that after you deliver the final version of your thesis + other documents to the office, your defence exam will take place within a month from the day of delivering everything to the office. Before you deliver the thesis to the office, your tutor needs time to read it and accept it. Remember that the longer you wait, the later date for the defence will be possible. The later the date, the more probable it is that tutors/reviewers/other people involved in the defence exam will go for holidays!
