Reminder about how to make up courses

Dear Students,

A quick reminder about deadlines and procedures for writing make-up exams:

In case of obligatory lectures: the make-up exam session for obligatory lectures takes place between 02 and 15 September. If you already know you failed one of obligatory lectures, please make sure you are in Warsaw at the beginning of September. A detailed schedule of make-up exams will be announced in August. It is possible to take part in a make-up exam only if someone failed or was absent during the exam in June. If you got "3", which is a positive grade, you cannot make it up for a better grade. If you got "2" in June and then you will get "5" in September, BOTH grades will stay in USOS and will count into your GPA. If a student is ill during the exam, they are obliged to inform the office about it and then deliver a doctor's note to the office (after recovery).

In case of electives/specialization courses/obligatory workshops/obligatory labs: all make-ups need to take place till the end of the June session! The September session is only for obligatory lectures. If you failed the course and would like to make it up, please contact the teacher of that course. Instructors may, but don't have to give you an opportunity to make up your grades. They could even give you this opportunity many times, as long as all happens till the end of the normal session.
