Requirements to complete and pass year 2:

  1. You need to pass all obligatory courses
  2. You need to gather at least 60 ECTS credits, counting the credits from all courses you completed - so including obligatory, and elective courses, language courses and OGUN courses.

    To reach 60 ECTS credits you have to indicate which electives / OGUN's / language courses you will use to reach 60. This is done through "linking" which is explained elsewhere on the website.

    In case you do not pass all obligatory courses or electives, read about the consequences elsewhere on the website

    Requirements to complete by a later moment during your studies*:

    * Pay attention in case you ever repeated a year; the requirements you need to fulfill are determined by the starting year of your studies, not by the year you are currently on.

    In addition to passing all obligatory courses for a given year, and completing at least 60 ECTS credits per year;

    By the end of year 3 you are required to:

    1. Have completed at least two semesters of a foreign language course (any language other than your mothertongue OR the official language of the country of your citizenship)
    2. Have completed three semesters of Physical Education (PE) classes
    3. Have achieved level B1 in a foreign language that is not English. You can fulfill this by passing a B1 language exam at the University, or to show another official certificate confirming at least B1 level. Note that passing a language course at a certain level is not sufficient, you must pass a certifying exam.

    By the end of your studies you are required to:

    1. Complete at least 35 ECTS credits from academic elective courses. Elective courses are classified as belonging either to the academic elective basket or to the applied elective basket. The course syllabus will mention this, as well as USOS will indicate this. By far the most elective courses are academic.
    2. Complete at least 12 ECTS from non-psychology OGUN courses till the end of your studies. Out of these 12 ECTS, at least 5 ECTS need to come from courses in humanities.
    3. Complete at least 48 ECTS credits of specialization courses
